Why we removed Verreal AT Mini from our store
Recently, we have decided to stop selling Verreal AT Mini electric skateboards. People are talking about it in Reddit. So we think it is nessessary to say a few words about our decision.
A few days ago, Daniel Kwan uploaded a review video on Verreal AT Mini and exposed some areas that need improvements. Therefore, we reached out to our supplier and pointed out those areas. However, our supplier expressed his ideas that the demand for this hub motor is very small. They don't see good returns on the investment for new moulds. As a result, they rejected our suggestions for improvements on the hub motors.
At that time, our stock ran out. So after a long talk with our partners, we made this decision to discontinue selling AT Mini. We talked to Daniel Kwan and asked him to remove the video from his Channel. We also removed our product listing at our store very soon.
Verreal AT Mini is not a conventional all terrain electric skateboard. We advertised it as a mini version of all terrain electric skateboards. It indeed has some off roading abilities. But it also has it cons. The wheel being not big enough and the rubber too thin are two of them. Also Daniel pointed out the rear truck was a little shorter than the front truck and it may cut some stability of the board. Well, I rode it for one month. The rear truck does not affect the stability at all. The board still performs solid even after it rode through the river a few weeks ago. The board is still used as my vehicle to get to places.
For those who bought our Vereal AT Mini, we will still honor our three month warranty. Anything happens in the three months, we will see if it falls under warranty and come up with our solutions.
Thanks for your attention and interests in such a board. Verreal will always work hard on the off road board. We wil invest to open moulds for those all terrain wheels ourselves. Thank you for your supports.
