Look. I am not paid or told what to say but I have to let someone out there know this. This is becoming one of the largest electric skateboard companies out there. Why? Because of one thing. Every time I became concerned, I reached out and they answered. Simple. The masses will value that huge concept and gravitate toward the Verreal Board company. In this day and age, I think that is pivotal. So yes! I ordered it a few weeks ago but I am completely up to date with where things are. I could start over and double my wait time with another company that might not have that one attribute of keeping the client up to date and be left in the dark. Nope. I am staying here. I know my tesla rs will run RIGHT. Those of us that know what I mean by "RIGHT" just know! Thank you Verreal Team!!!
Ordered a 30Q RS with the standard 90mm wheels. My first impression: looks and feels well made. Nice to see a big charger included, some spare screws and thanks Vic for the extra 2 belts you promised.
Stand on it and yeah this thing is solid, no flex at all. In comparison my Exway Flex Riot looks like a small SUV where the RS is like a low sleek limo. It is really low and wide and looks great. So charged it in order to take it for a drive.
Helmet, totally geared up. Started driving (gear 3 can't be bothered with the other ones..) everything feels smooth. Go to top speed, fast easy and super stable. The initial feel was like this thing is on rails, I never used DKP before. It turned out that I had to make some small adaptations in riding style to make this thing really turn. The RS is low, wide and inflexible so shifting weight forward and backward doesn't do much. But I can assure you, this thing loves carving and turning at all speeds. Was really surprised how much better the DKP's work at low speed compared to regular trucks.
One more comparison, my Flex Riot is like an exited puppy, the RS is more laid back. I really like them both and they differ a lot. If you could just choose one, the sensible person should choose the RS, way better battery, laid back, probably faster top speed and an almost civilized noise... Since not everyone is sensible, the flex riot noise is not civilised at all, it generates more adrenaline, feels more edgy and I'm sure there is a bigger chance it will some day bite you.
Bottom line, I really happy to have an RS!
Thanks Vic! You guys put together a great machine! Absolutely love it
After excruciating 2.5 months, the board finally has arrived. Had no issues so far, brilliant build quality and Vic is an amazing dude. Patience is key, since shipping a heavy board plus batteries across continents is a major faff. If you're up to wait for 2-3 months and get a solid board for a fair price, this is your thing.
can not wait to to get the board and post full review.
Had problem with UPS (did not see any updates for some time) but looks like Vic sorted it out.
so far good comunication with Verreal team.
