Board is like the reviews say it was, I'm very happy with it. Only downside is the weight (I've the 20Ah battery).
Choose air shipping, it will have less chances of getting stuck somewhere in the supply chain.
Have now had my RS with cloud wheels for a month. I love this skateboard.
Great distance, speed, carving, fun over terrain. Couldn't have asked for a better board. Vic has been fantastic answering all my questions and shipping was Fast (I selected Air).
Excellent quality, fun ride. Speed and range as advertised. Definitely a great board! Looking forward to outfitting with some accessories.
Lots of power! Tighten at least the back trucks before you go fast
I love this board so much and wish I had got one sooner. I used to skate as a child in early 2000's but never got into longboarding. This board has given me more than just fun and exercise which I cannot thank Verreal enough. I have had issues getting out of the house since the military due to things I wont go into. The day I got the deck it has changed my life for the better which sounds weird but very true. I got the 16 Ah with white glow wheels and the bash guard exactly 15 days after the purchase. It was at the end of may so the virus might have more of an effect now I am not sure. The drop down deck and curved up edges keep my feet locked in so I can get real deep carves to the point it feels like I am about to lose control but never do. I upgraded the grip to dope grip and it is like super glue under your feet which helps in dips/pot holes. I am a heavier dude so I upgraded to the bushing kit from Riptide which makes a kit specifically for the RS. This board feels great under my feet and carves hard like it's on rails with my 105 Cloud's. I liked the carve and ride of the glow's but the pot holes and desert sand will not allow me to ride unfortunately. I get about 20 miles per ride and I carve pretty hard at around 225 Lbs. and a backpack/pads. I get about 27mph with the 105'5 and I have the Cloud 120's as well and topped out about 33 mph. I live in Tucson so no real hills but slight inclines here and there. I love the torque it is punchy and the breaking is just as quick if you are in 3rd/ 4th mode/gear. I have not felt any ghost accelerations or had any cutout's in power. I rode the battery to 0 only once and can say the torque and power was unchanged until 0 where the board just cruised to a stop and the brakes were still strong. Now this is my first but certainty not my last Esk8 and to me it is on the heavy side but in a premium feeling weight. If you want a light weight deck look into kick tail options but this beast will last a long ride. The remote is very comfortable and I usually have more than 50% left in the tank after a long 20 mile ride. I suggest getting a rubber protector I got one from Lycaon but there might be other places to purchase one. I had a spill and it scratched the remote but did not effect the functionality and still works like a champ. The remote has 4 modes with a cruise control if you hold accelerate and then tap the power button but be careful I notice a slight delay in braking/ acceleration when in cruise control. I love this thing so much and am actually about to hit the road in a minute. I texted Vic and he kept me in the loop before and after the purchase which is nice. I am not sure exactly what else to say but I love the ride this is what I wanted to see when reading reviews. I hope this helps someone in their decision and good luck in what ever you end up buying.
