Proper battery care helps maintain performance and significantly extends battery lifespan. Follow these best practices:

Charging Habits

Always use the official charger provided by Verreal or a charger approved by us.

Avoid frequent high-current fast charging. Use fast chargers only when necessary.

Do not fully drain the battery. Recharge when the battery level reaches around 25–30%.

Shallow charging is best. Avoid charging to 100% every time; keeping the battery between 20%–80% helps extend its lifespan.

Charge after riding rather than letting the battery sit at a low state of charge.

Riding Behavior

Avoid aggressive acceleration and hill climbing at low battery levels, as this puts excessive strain on the battery.

Maintain smooth throttle input, especially when the battery is below 30%.

Environmental Protection

Keep the battery completely dry. Never ride in rain, through deep water, or on flooded or very wet roads.

Avoid riding in extremely humid or wet conditions.

If the board gets damp, allow it to fully dry before charging or storage.

Temperature Management

Avoid charging or storing the battery in very hot or very cold environments.

Let the battery cool down after riding before charging.

Cold temperatures temporarily reduce performance; warm the battery indoors before riding when possible.

Storage Guidelines

For long-term storage, keep the battery at around 40–60% charge.

Store the board in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Recharge and discharge the battery every 1–2 months during storage to prevent over-discharge.

General Maintenance

Keep the drivetrain properly maintained to avoid unnecessary battery strain.

Check connectors and charging ports periodically to ensure they are clean and dry.

Following these practices will help your battery deliver consistent performance, longer range, and a longer overall lifespan.

The Verreal RS Neo and RS Pro Max are built on the same high-performance platform, sharing identical motors, ESC, trucks, wheels, enclosure, pulleys, and belts. The key differences come down to battery configuration, speed, range, and charging flexibility:

1. Battery & Power System

The RS Neo runs on a 10S4P 36V 20Ah (720Wh) pack using EVE 21700 cells, while the RS Pro Max upgrades to a 12S4P 43.2V 20Ah (888Wh) pack. This higher voltage gives the Pro Max a noticeable boost in power delivery and top-end performance.

2. Speed

Thanks to its 12S battery, the RS Pro Max reaches a top speed of 49–51 km/h (28–31 mph), compared to the RS Neo’s 40–42 km/h (25–26 mph). Whether passing traffic or carving open roads, the Pro Max offers extra headroom for speed lovers.

3. Range

With its larger 888Wh battery, the RS Pro Max delivers up to 65 km (40 miles) on 90mm wheels—about 12 km more than the RS Neo’s 53 km (33 miles). That means longer adventures and fewer charges.

4. Future-Ready ESC

Both models feature the same versatile 40A JESC FOC ESC, supporting 8S–14S battery configurations. Want to upgrade later? Simply swap in a higher-voltage battery, adjust settings via the remote, and unlock even more power—no ESC replacement needed.

5. Charging Options

The RS Neo includes a 42V 3A charger for steady overnight refills. The RS Pro Max gives you choice: a standard 50.4V 2.5A charger, or an optional 50.4V 6A fast charger that cuts charging time significantly.

6. Vibration dampening

The Verreal RS Pro Max features a 4mm thick EVA foam grip tape applied to its surface, whereas the Verreal RS Neo utilizes a spray-on grit texture directly on its floral-patterned deck. Owing to its 4mm EVA foam layer, the Verreal RS Pro Max will deliver superior vibration dampening performance compared to the Verreal RS Neo.

Verreal electric skateboards are built with specific water-resistant features, achieving an IPX4 rating for protection against water splashes from any direction. However, they are not fully waterproof.

Our design incorporates a 4mm thick silicone gasket between the enclosure and deck, and silicone seals at all openings—including motor cables, power button, and charging port—to prevent moisture ingress.

Despite these measures, riding through puddles or on wet/icy surfaces remains unsafe. It can still damage internal electronics and drastically reduces wheel traction, increasing the risk of losing control.

For your safety and your board’s longevity, we strongly advise riding only on dry surfaces.

For your safety, riding in the rain is not recommended. While our boards are designed with strong water resistance and can withstand incidental heavy rain, wet conditions significantly increase the risk of accidents. Slippery surfaces may cause the board to skid uncontrollably.

Importantly, riding in the rain or through puddles can allow water to enter the battery enclosure, potentially leading to electrical or battery failure.

Due to these safety and operational risks, we strongly advise against riding in wet conditions. Please note that any damage resulting from such use is not covered under our warranty.

For customers in EU and in USA where we have stock in Germany warehouses or California warehouses, if customers order a Verreal RS Pro Max with Cloud wheels, it is likely that we send you from Germany warehouse/ California warehouse a Verreal RS Pro Max with 90mm PU wheels and then from China we will send you another full set of 120mm cloud wheels. In this case, you get a full set of 90mm pu wheels free of charge. Usually the skateboard arrives in a week and the wheel set takes 7-15 days to arrive at your hands from China.

Here’s a clear step-by-step guide to pair your remote with the skateboard:

Step 1 – Enter pairing mode on the skateboard
Long-press the power button on the skateboard until the LED starts flashing rapidly.

Step 2 – Turn on and pair the remote
Long-press the power button on the remote for a few seconds until its screen lights up. It will automatically enter pairing mode.

Step 3 – Select drive mode
When prompted on the remote screen, choose 2WD.

Step 4 – Confirm pairing
The remote will display “Paired successfully” once connected.

Step 5 – Complete initial setup
After pairing, you’ll need to configure a few settings in the following order:

1. Unit– Choose km/h or mph
2. Motor type – Select belt (if applicable)
3. Wheel diameter – Enter your wheel size (e.g., 90 mm)
4. Gear ratio– Calculate as:
`Wheel pulley teeth ÷ Motor pulley teeth`
5. Pole pair number – Set to 7

Step 6 – Ready to ride
Once all settings are entered, your skateboard is paired and configured.

To do that, you will need to pair your board up with the remote controller again. After the screen shows paired up successfully, you will enter the setting phase and in there you can choose either mph or kmh.

The motors are mounted to the motor mounts using four mounting screws.

Each motor mount includes four adjustment slots, offering up to 12 mm of travel for precise belt tension adjustment.

Step-by-Step Instructions

   Do not remove them completely — just enough to allow the motor to slide.

   While holding the motor in position, tighten all four screws firmly to lock the motor in place.

   The belt should feel snug with slight flexibility — not overly tight and not loose.

Once secured, the belt tension adjustment is complete.

When installing larger wheels or pulleys, belt tension adjustment is required to ensure proper fit and performance.

Larger battery configurations offer longer range. Battery age, charge cycles, and overall health also affect usable capacity.

Temperature & Weather Conditions

Cold temperatures can temporarily reduce battery performance, while strong headwinds increase power consumption.

Tire Type, Size & Pressure

Larger wheels, softer tires, lower tire pressure, or high rolling resistance setups may reduce range.

Belt Tension & Drivetrain Condition

Belts that are too tight, misaligned pulleys, or worn components can increase mechanical resistance.

Road Conditions & Stop-and-Go Riding

Frequent stops, traffic, and uneven surfaces require repeated acceleration, lowering efficiency.

To maximize range, we recommend riding at moderate speeds, maintaining proper tire pressure and belt tension, and keeping the drivetrain well maintained.

Step 1: Pair the Devices
Start by pairing your skateboard with the remote controller as usual.

Step 2: Power Both Off
Turn off the skateboard and the remote controller completely.

Step 3: Initiate Self-Learning Mode

1. Turn only the skateboard back on (leave the remote off).
2. Immediately after power-up, quickly press the skateboard’s power button three times.

Step 4: Let the Process Complete

• You’ll hear the motors hum and spin briefly in opposite directions.
• Wait until the motors come to a full stop, then turn off the skateboard.

Step 5: Done
The ESC has now automatically learned the motor specifications. Your skateboard is ready to use.

Keeping your top speed at 20 km/h is straightforward and fast. Just pull and hold the throttle in the braking position, then quickly press the speed mode button 10 times. This will lock your speed to 20 km/h.

To unlock it, repeat the same steps.

This instant speed-limiting feature is especially useful for legal compliance in many European regions, helping you ride safely within local speed regulations.

Step 1: Remove the old battery pack
Unscrew the battery enclosure and carefully disconnect the current battery from the ESC and charging port.

Step 2: Install the new higher-voltage battery pack
Place the new battery pack securely inside the enclosure, then connect it to the ESC and the charging port.

Step 3: Enter ESC advanced settings
Turn on the skateboard and remote controller. Press the speed switch button 8 times to enter the ESC’s advanced setting menu on the remote screen.

Step 4: Adjust battery cell setting
Gently pull the throttle back slightly to navigate to “Battery Cells.” Press the power button to enter edit mode.
Use the throttle to scroll through the options: 10S, 11S, 12S, 13S, etc. Select the value matching your new battery’s configuration (e.g., 13S), then press the speed switch button to confirm.

Step 5: Confirm and restart
Once confirmed, your ESC is now calibrated to the new battery voltage. Turn the skateboard off and back on, and you’re ready to ride with noticeably higher power and performance.

This question is for skateboard orders that got shipped from China. Because Verreal electric skateboards are powered by a big battery, which is well over the 99 watt hours limit for airline travel. Express companies like DHL, FedEx, UPS and others won't accept them onboard for international shipping. Therefore, We are shipping via air freight for the first leg of shipping and via local courier services like FedEx/UPS/DPD for the final delivery. The tracking number we give is for the final local courier services. So the first leg of shipping is not updated on that tracking number. Only when your parcel reaches destination country and clears customs clearance will the tracking number generate tracking updates.

Yes, we are shipping to Israel. But we have to make it clear that shipping fees are high for this country. Because according to our previous experience (we already sent a few boards to Israel), we need to dismantle the skateboard in 3 packages, one with battery pack and remote controller only, one with deck, enclosure and charger and the last pacakge with the rest stuff. All three packages have to be within 5 kilograms. And there may be taxes imposed by Israel customs.
