42V or 50.4V: which electric skateboard charger do I need?

• 42V chargers are for boards with 10S battery packs (36V), such as the Verreal V1, V1S, F1, F1 Max, RS and RS Neo.
• 50.4V chargers are for boards with 12S battery packs (43.2V), such as the Verreal ACE, RS Pro, RS Pro Max and RS Ultra.
• Then choose the current. A higher-amp charger shortens charging time: pick the 4A fast charger instead of the 3A on a 42V board, or the 6A fast charger instead of the 2.5A on a 50.4V board.

Not sure which battery pack your board has? See our electric skateboard batteries, which list the pack for each Verreal board.

FAQ: electric skateboard chargers

Which charger do I need for my Verreal board?

Use the table above: each charger lists the Verreal boards it works on. If your board is not listed, send us your board model and we will help.

What is the difference between a 42V and a 50.4V charger?

It is the voltage the charger delivers. 10S battery packs charge up to 42V and 12S battery packs charge up to 50.4V, so each type of charger fits its own type of pack.

Can I charge my battery with any charger?

No. Use a charger with the same voltage as your battery pack. A charger with a different voltage can damage the battery.

Which plug does the charger come with?

The plug depends on your destination country. The 12S 50.4V 2.5A charger is available with a US, EU, UK or Australian plug. Check the product page for the plug options of the other chargers.
